About Idaho Builder

I founded Idaho Builder with the help of a LOT of people. I am continually humbled when I think about the many different people in my life that either helped me get to where I was to start Idaho Builder, or helped me start this endeavor.

This endeavor is a dream that I am glad to share with the entire team at Idaho Builder. It is to provide truly exceptional construction services to the people of Idaho and Eastern Washington and to clearly communicate the source of our success in our mission.

I started building homes with my dad in the desert of Eastern Oregon at the age of 7. By the age of 20, I had started a family and a small construction company in southern Idaho. Over the course of the last 35 years, I have participated in several billion dollars of construction projects ranging up and down the west coast and into Mexico.

I've been on some very large projects, building hospitals, schools, office buildings, parking garages, city infrastructure projects, and more homes than I can count. In the last four years, I have been instrumental in the construction of more than 50 new custom homes and slightly less than that remodels, in north Idaho.

As a General Manager, Operations Manager, and Project Manager for various great construction companies for decades, I enjoyed the rich talents my co-workers shared and the opportunities given me. However, in 2023, at the encouragement of many, I decided that I could serve better as Owner than as a manager for someone else.

The source of my success is without question the love of Jesus. There are so many people I could thank for pouring themselves into my life, but none of them come close to the King.

All of what makes Idaho Builder an outstanding contractor is directly because of Him. He is the reason we care for the employee who steals tools from the company. He is the reason we care for the client who can never be satisfied. He is the reason we spend hours and money on our work where many would cut corners. He is the reason we do what we do when no one is watching.

I am excited to be in this place and to be surrounded by the exceptional team and the King Himself. I would absolutely love to help you with your dreams.
